Report a record

Reports enter the same private review queue as submissions. A moderator checks the report against the record, and verified problems are corrected or removed. Reports are never published.

What makes a good report

Say which rule the record breaks, and where in the record it shows.
Attach the smallest file that proves the point: the original post, the uncensored copy, or the source that contradicts it.
For privacy reports, describe the exposed detail; do not repeat it in text when the file already shows it.
If you are the person shown in the record, say so. Those requests are handled first.

What happens next

The report and any attachment are stored privately. Nothing is published.
A moderator checks the report against the record and the submission rules.
Verified problems are corrected by censoring the record, or by removing it from the archive.
Reports are deleted after 30 days. Reporters are not contacted.
